Arellius Fuscus : ウィキペディア英語版 | Arellius Fuscus Arellius Fuscus (or Aurelius Fuscus) was an ancient Roman orator. He spoke with ease in both Latin and Greek, in an elegant and ornate style. Charles Thomas Cruttwell says Arelius was an Asiatic, that is, a practitioner of an elevated oratorical style. He was probably the teacher of Ovid〔() makes Ovid a pupil of Fuscus and Porcius Latro; () for report by Seneca the Elder in his ''Suasor'', which contains a passage of Fuscus on astrology.〕 and Pliny the Elder. He is mentioned in the ''Naturalis Historia'' of the latter. Another pupil was Papirius Fabianus.〔(Dictionary entry ), (Fabianus entry ).〕 ==Notes== 〔
